The purpose of man is not job, but the actualization of world peace through inner peace: Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche

Kathmandu. Spiritual Guru Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche has stated that the main purpose of human life is not only limited to employment and livelihood but to apply meditation, maintaining self-awareness and actualize world peace.

While Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving rapidly, Rinpoche expressed the opinion that it should be accepted as a supportive friend of humanity. Rinpoche also delivered a keynote speech on AI & AI. First AI is artificial intelligence and second AI stands for absolute intelligence.

Publishing his opinion through social networks, Rinpoche said that mankind was born on Earth not only for employment but also to pave the way for world peace by developing internal natural consciousness.

According to him, internal transformation and development of pure consciousness is the basis of the real progress of civilization.

“Humankind did not come to earth just for employment. “Our aim is to give a real form of world peace through responsible attention, self-awareness and mindfulness,” he noted.

Rinpoche urges artificial intelligence to view as an opportunity, not a threat to human existence. He believes that AI can handle complex and repetitive tasks of daily life, can give people more time in creativity, study, spiritual practice and humanitarian social service.

“I welcome the help of AI. “We should treat AI as our most understanding friend,” he said.

He said that in the future AI can take responsibility for most regular and labor tasks such as serious discussion on the concept such as ‘Universal Basic Income’ (Universal Basic Income) is required to manage the economic and social change created from it.

The development of technology has provided an opportunity to redefine human life not only through economic production but through consciousness, compassion, coexistence and world peace, according to Rinpoche. He has expressed deep faith that people in future society can spend time on self-development, education, art, research on longevity and spiritual upliftment beyond concerns of livelihood.

This expression of his comes amidst a worldwide debate about technology, spirituality and future human civilization.
